Director/Owner:
Gail Wayman, M.Ed., BCBA is a Board Certified Behavior
Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a certified Special Education
Teacher who has worked with children with special needs,
including those with Autism Spectrum Disorders(ASD), for
more than ten years. She has worked in public schools as a
Special Education Teacher, Behavior Specialist, and In-Home
Trainer, and, more recently, has consulted for school districts,
private and public service providers, and families implementing
in-home ABA programs in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex as
an associate of Kelle Wood, M.Ed., BCBA. Ms. Wayman has
provided various workshops and training for organizations in
the D/FW area including North Texas Autism Education Center,
Autism Treatment Center and FEAT North Texas.
STAFF
Instructors at The Wayman Center have at least several
years of experience providing instruction to children with
autism and other special needs, and are also experienced in
implementing procedures derived from principles of behavior
analysis in schools, center-based programs and/or in-home
programs. They receive daily supervision and training, and
continuing education is a priority. Full-time instructors are all
working toward completing the courses and supervision
requirements to sit for the Board Certified Associate Behavior
Analyst(BCABA) exam.
